ALAC’s mission is to lead a change in New Zealand’s drinking culture. Make our mission yours as our new Southern Regional Manager based in Christchurch.
We need a versatile, energetic and resourceful person to represent us across the South Island and to contribute expertise in community based social change to both local and national projects.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- initiative, energy and commitment to ALAC’s objectives and message
- excellent relationship management skills and the ability to contribute to the development and delivery of our national programmes at a local level
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- good networks particularly among Mäori and Pacific
- a background in alcohol and drug issues or public health
- experience in managing projects and contracts with third party providers
- ability to travel on a regular basis and comfortable being managed from a distance.
