Organisor: Matua Raki - National Addiction Workforce DevelopmentDescription: This important day has been organised by Matua Raki to bring together workforce leaders in the addiction sector to facilitate professional networking. Addiction Treatment Leadership Days are held tri-annually to provide a platform for the latest information and knowledge, regarding addiction affairs, to be shared and exchanged. Leaders from across the sector have an opportunity to meet and engage in collaborative activity at strategic and service-delivery levels.July's Leadership Day's theme is Young People. Speakers from government, non-government organisations, practitioners' associations, educators, service-providers and advisory groups will be presenting a detailed and diverse picture regarding addiction and young people in Aotearoa New Zealand.There is no cost to attend. A generous lunch and morning/afternoon teas are provided. Places are open to those involved in the addiction and mental health fields.
